Services:

We dispose of your batteries properly. Look for the large water bottle of batteries in the cafeteria area. Make it your New Year's resolution to buy only rechargeable batteries

We recycle e-waste and our school makes money. Bring in your printer cartridges and cell phones. Ask at the front office where you can leave refurbishable ink cartridges and cell phones. Check out the website to see all the ways you can make money for our school while getting rid of your ewaste.

Shopping:

Get environmentally friendly school products and help raise money for our school. Greenraising has SIGG water bottles, recycled lunch boxes, and other back-to-school supplies. Go to www.greenraising.com and select Coeur d'Alene in the drop down menu in the top right corner. Purchase your environmentally safe products here,  and you'll be contributing 25% of the cost to our school while making a lasting contribution to the future of our planet.

 All Students Can Participate! Arrive at school on foot or on wheels and you will qualify!

By participating in the iwalk club you will…

•  reduce car trips to the school

•  encourage walking and other active travel

•  reduce pollution and climate change emissions

•  promote healthier lifestlyle choices for students and their families

 

How Does it Work?

Each student is given an iwalk club card on the first day they walk or ride to school. Look out for the Green Gate Guards as you enter the school to request a card or get your card punched. Students who walk or wheel ten Wednesdays are eligible for a prize
