We are thrilled to celebrate our first-ever Coeur d’Alene Robotics Team for their outstanding performance at the VEX Robotics Competition in the LAUSD West Conference League at Wright Middle School!

Out of 14 registered teams, our CDA team achieved incredible results:

As we look back on a year filled with learning, laughter, and growth — one moment that truly captured our hearts was our school-wide theater performance of Oliver Jr., based on Charles Dickens’ Oliver Twist. 🎭🌟

Our talented students brought to life the timeless tale of young Oliver, who journeys through hardship and hope in search of love and belonging. From the spirited Artful Dodger to the kind Nancy and the infamous Fagin, our cast shone with heart, humor, and soul — and the songs? Unforgettable! 🎶 “Consider Yourself” and “Food, Glorious Food” rang through our campus with joy and pride!

More than just a performance, this production reminded us how art unites us — allowing our children to express themselves, to tell stories, to create together, and to feel the magic of teamwork and transformation. 💫💛

We’re beyond grateful to all the volunteers and families who helped make this possible, and especially to @pollyshannonofficial — whose passion for theater, commitment, and creativity sparked something unforgettable in our students and our whole community. 👏🎬

From the historically inspired costumes to the beautifully performed songs and scenes, this was more than a school play — it was a celebration of imagination, resilience, and the power of coming together.

Thank you to @sunrisesurfacademy for hosting a Surf Party for Miss Rucker’s class last week at the beach! Miss Rucker’s class raised the most funds of any class for the Fun Run, and they had a ball hitting the waves.
