This Tuesday: The Most Efficient Day of the School Year Is Coming

Hi CDA Families,

This Tuesday, August 25 is auditioning for Most Efficient Day of the School Year, and it will most likely get the part.

First All-Parent Booster Meeting: 4 PM, CDA Auditorium (plus Zoom)

This is where FOCDA opens the books, lays out the year's events, and tells you exactly where you can help use our resources wisely. Budget, calendar, volunteer slots. We'll get it all wrapped up before you'd normally even be thinking about dinner. All are welcome to attend.

There are two sets of FOCDA minutes up for approval, May 2026 and February 2026. FOCDA's previously approved meeting minutes are on our website.

Beyond the Bell (Kids 4 College) ends at 6 PM that day, and there is no childcare at the meeting. Translate that as you see fit, carpool favors, a very patient grandparent, whatever gets you there solo.

Back to School Night: 5 to 6:30 PM

Stick around, because the day isn't done with you yet. Back to School Night follows immediately after the booster meeting. Meet in the Quad for the Principal Welcome, make your rounds through two classroom visits, and catch FOCDA one more time at the end for questions. Adults only, the kids already had their turn to run this place.

Where else can you catch two meetings with one parking spot? It's practically an investment.
